During the past two years God has proven to me time and time again the importance of family and friends and just how many I have! I cannot begin to thank everyone that has been there for us! You know who you are and we love you all so much!! There are so many people that have experienced the sadness, heartbreak, pain and hurt that Mimi and our family has experienced over the past 7 weeks. Not to mention '07 (my leg) and Rob's cancer this past year. I believe that everything happens for a reason and there is a reason He took Rob so early from this life. One day it will become clear to us, but for now we have to look toward the future and hope that something good can come from this horrible tragedy! Thank you all for everything but most importantly for your friendship and LOVE! Rob will remain in our hearts always and forever!
Love, Pam, Mimi and Famiy

Rob left us today at 4:15 p.m. to be in a better place! As all my brothers and Rob's friends would say, he's up there about to tee off! The amazing thing about today is it was Rob's mom's birthday! What a great birthday present for her to recieve Rob as a gift today. He was such a great gift to us for the past 25 years! We will miss him dearly.
I will post arrangements regarding the memorial service once we have all of the details.

Our family is blessed with many, many friends! We would like to thank each and every one of you for being a part of Rob's life! Today was a day of heart break, friendship, faith, prayer, fellowship, stories, and LOVE! At about 5:40 this evening Rob was taken off of the ventilator that had been sustaining his life for the past six weeks. He is comfortable, resting peacefully, and surrounded by LOVE! Please keep Mimi and our family in your prayers as we face the future without Rob's presence. Rob will live in our hearts forever! He is an inspiration to everyone that knew him! He never complained and never gave up! The man endured lung cancer not once but twice! It is time for him to be at peace and be with the Lord. There is nothing better than the memories we will cherish forever! Please keep Rob in your hearts always and forever! Amen!

Rob is still the same....sleeping and resting comfortably. We are praying for the day he will wake up and talk with us. He opens his eyes some but they say that is just a reflex. I do believe Rob is going to wake up one day soon but I know also that we are in for a long recovery. I want to thank all of you for continueing to pray for Rob and for our family. I could not get through this without all of our friends and my wonderful family !! They have all been amazing and I am so thankful for each and everyone of them !
Love to you all and a Happy New Year to all of you !!

Christmas is truly a time for friends and family! We are so blessed to have the absolute best of both! This year has proved to be the most challenging Christmas ever for our family, it's hard not to be sad, however, with the love of our family, friends, and faith we were able to spend some quality and "special" times with the ones we love the most! Rob was comfortable and at peace when we visited with him today. We continue to pray, please keep our family and Rob in your prayers. Merry Christmas! Love from all of us to you! Pam

The past three days have been up and down. On Monday we were really encouraged because he was moving his legs and feet quite a bit, which we have not seen him do up until now. Then yesterday he had five visitors, friends of Pam's from work and he had his eyes open during the whole visit which was again encouraging! His right eye has not been opening much up until now, but yesterday he had his right eye opened a little bit too. He seems to move his eyes in the direction of the voices, so again we are looking for all and any signs of encouragement. He was moved out of ICU today, as his vital signs and all are very good and are stable. However, he did not open his eyes during our visit today but then again we were not there very long. We just pray that he will wake up and come back to us as the Rob that we all know and love! Please keep him and our family in your prayers!
