Rob has been moved to Kindred Hospital. He is in room #426, a private room which will be much nicer than being in the ICU unit at Ben Taub! There was no change today, he has a contusion on his brain which is basically a very large bruise. It can take weeks if not months for the healing which in addition will hopefully reduce the swelling. He does open his eyes at times and seems to know we are talking to him. We downloaded the new cd from church on Pam's ipod and play Donald and Robin's beautiful voice for him to listen to.
We appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers! We hope that this website will help to keep everyone updated on Rob's progress.

Mimi...I love you! Remember "patience" and "faith"! Papa is a strong man and a fighter! Don't ever lose sight of that! You too, have to be strong and fight! We will get through this together one day at a time! Rob needs you and so do we!! WE LOVE YOU!
Mimi - You have been in my prayer's each day. I know that Rob is a strong man. He has overcome quite a bit this year. He recently told Jill that he thought he had 9 lives. We are going has to hold him to it. Stay strong!! Love you! Andie
Mimi, Pam & girls,
You all took us in when I didn't think I could start over. I will never forget that Rob treated Paige just like another granddaughter.
Mimi,
Enjoy the good days, and on the bad ones it is o.k. to break down and let someone else step in. It will make you better when Rob wakes up and sees your beautiful, rested, happy face.
Love,
Margaret
My thoughts and prayers go out to your entire family. Rob is such a strong man and has always been there, helping others, whatever the need. His strength will shine through again. Hang in there together....I'll be there to visit this weekend.

Dear Donna and family - Our thoughts, our hearts and our prayers are with you daily during this difficult time. The news about Bobby came as a terrible shock and it's still hard to beleive and accept what happened. Our Faith in God is what we count on to carry us through. We wish we could be with you in person to lend our support but please be assured that we are with you in spirit. Our prayers will be with you tomorrow as you place Bobby's fate in God's hands. We will always remember Bobby's smile and humor, especially his laughter. We love you very much. May God Bless you all! Love, Cousin Rita and Jimmy
